PRESENT SIMPLE

GOAL: Use the simple present in the three forms.

Present simple affirmative forms

Subject name verb + comp

1. Rule: Cuando la oración esta en  3 persona ( she, he, it) a los verbos le agregamos S. 

Example: Luisa jumps in the bed.

2. Rule: Para los verbos acabados en "-o","-sh", "-ch" , "-ss", "-x" , "-z", "-y" se añade "-es" en lugar de "-s para la 3ª persona del singular". 

Example: Lauren goes to supermarket.

My dad kisses to my mom.

3. Rule: Cuando la oración esta en  3 persona ( she, he, it) .-y" cuando la "y" no es precedida de una vocal, forman la tercera persona en "-ies".

Example: 

Patry studies the class.

Samuel marries with Shakira.

4. Rule: si la "-y" es precedida por una vocal, la tercera persona se forma con una "-s".

Example: 

Mary buys a car.

Luisa says a poem.
